‘Dr. Chalerm’ Donated 3 Million Bath to Kanjanabaramee Foundation
26 April 2023 - Prof. Dr. Chalerm Harnphanich, M.D. Chief Executive Officer of Bangkok Chain Hospital Public Company Limited (“BCH”) donated 3,000,000 baht to Kanjanabaramee Foundation at Kanjanabaramee Foundation, Ministry of Public Health.
The objective is to support breast cancer screening tests with Mammogram for at-risk and disadvantaged women, which can detect cancer within a short period and can be treated promptly.
The study of Global Cancer 2020 says breast cancer is the most commonly occurring cancer in women. There were 2.26 million new cases of breast cancer in women in 2020. In Thailand, breast cancer is the most common cancer for women and can be detected in some men, there were 22,158 new cases per year.
